We booked a slot at the rooftop Trafalgar Square. Formerly known as Vista bar at the Trafalgar in London on the same day.
That's the beauty of the rooftop Trafalgar Square.You can book on the day (if there are slots available).
That way you don't have to worry about getting caught out in bad weather. There are umbrellas available on the rooftop at the Trafalgar St James. So you'll be ok come rain or shine.
It seems we had
picked the hottest day of the year so far to visit. So hot that the granite marble top along the edge was too hot to touch!

It's funny, because it turned grey and started to chuck it down as soon as we arrived home and closed our front door.
The rooftop at the Trafalgar is a gorgeous rooftop bar. It's not too big, so the city views and general atmosphere won't be ruined by overcrowding.

There are sofas and along the balcony edge there are seats and marble shelving. With views of Nelson's column.
We arrived at the perfect time. I think 12-ish. The bar was pretty empty at first, allowing for nice photos and we were seated in the best place in my opinion.

We arrived at the perfect time. I think 12-ish. The bar was pretty empty at first, allowing for nice photos and we were seated in the best place in my opinion.
Right in the center of the balcony edge. Overlooking the city skyline. With big Ben, the London eye and the shard all visible. Plus a birds eye view of the vibrant Trafalgar square below.

The service at the rooftop was really good. I ordered a passion fruit dacuiri. Which was nice.

Instead of the pork platter we were able to enjoy some chicken and beef skewers, with two types of bread. Olives, cheese slices and jam.
The sharing platter at the Trafalgar was delicious. Both breads tasted fresh. One was super soft and the other had a nice crunch.
The food menu at Trafalgar St James also includes burgers. Hotdogs. Wraps and salads.

There's an extensive drinks menu which includes cocktails and mocktails. Spirits, wines and champagnes.
We both enjoyed it so much that we would go back again.
The overall experience at the Rooftop Trafalgar Square. Iconic views over Trafalgar square and the rest of London. With a drink in hand and sounds coming from the radio.
