I continued to be impressed all afternoon and how could I not when I got to board Float8’s ‘Float1’. A stunning yacht with two double bedrooms. Shower room. Galley kitchen, open plan living AND dining area. And it doesn't stop there. Float 1 also has a front and rear deck. With a roof deck that was decked out as a roof garden. Faux grass to complete! I didn't want to leave!

This spring I was invited to attend the event of the season - If not the year. London's very first luxury yacht show. Taking place at London's only marina. St Katharine docks on Thursday 21st til Sunday 24th April 2022.
London luxury afloat is a new and exclusive event showcasing the most luxurious sail and motor yachts on the market. Right in the heart of London at St. Katharine Docks.
Created by British Marine - organisers of the Southampton International Boat Show. London luxury afloat features well-appointed sailing. Motor, and super yachts from the world's leading brands.
I've been to St Katharine Docks before but never on to the marina - and what a beautiful day for it.
I was a guest of the new. Luxury four day event. Sponsored by Bentley, who had one of their latest. Show-stopping cars on display. On dry land of course!
After walking down the red carpet onto the marina. The first stop is the vip floating bar, which serves a number of refreshing drinks. Then I slowly made my way around the marina to marvel at some of the best fleet liners in the world.
St Katharine Dock is in an easily accessible location. One that feels miles away from London in the sunshine. Sitting out on top deck of these tremendous stationary yachts was a wonderful way to while away the hot and sunny afternoon.
Each yacht is designed with such detailing and beauty. With super comfy seating areas and relaxing open deck spaces. If you've never been on a yacht before. You'll be impressed by the amenities these beautiful pieces of craftsmanship hide inside - and out.

Thanks to the modern advances in technology. You won't be short on space. I'm tall and even in heels, I didn't have to crouch to walk around inside the high end yachts displayed at London luxury afloat.
With the marina in a perfect location. Close to many transport options. Opposite St Katharine Docks Marina are views of Tower Bridge so you can really make a day of it.

Only ticket holders will receive marina access. Allowing for up close and personal. One-to-one viewings with brand experts. As well as enjoying the perks of exclusive London Luxury Afloat VIP hospitality in the floating VIP area.
Guests will witness the world launch of the Oyster 495 and have access to landside displays. Featuring smaller craft. Products and services that complement the on-water line-up.

St. Katharine Docks is London’s largest marina made up of office, retail and residential space. The marina has 185 berths in three basins, for vessels up to 40m long. It wasn't my first visit to St Katharine Docks. As the docks play host to a number of events and year-round activities.

While shoreside I checked out Fliteboard. The perfect ‘accessory’ for my future superyacht!
