Sky Dining at Brighton i360
It was an unforgettable valentines day. Mostly for good reasons. My husband and I enjoyed an exciting evening escape from London. To the beachfront of Brighton which is just over an hour away from London by train.
Having been to Brighton on many occasion. We had never been inside the tallest building in Brighton. The British Airways i360.
We had run into a bit of bad luck right before we were scheduled to make our way. Which meant that my poor husband couldn't walk on one of his feet.
The friendly staff of the Brighton i360 reasurred me with the fact they could meet us with a whechair and escorted us all the way to our table.
They really made us feel so comfortable. They even rearranged their table plan to seat us right by the exit where the toilets are. It's a highly accessible venue. With their own wheelchairs and even crutches on sight.
I highly recommend dinner or even just drinks at the Brighton i360 for anyone with additional mobility needs.
On the ground before guests enter the i360 pod. Guests are treated to a glass of champagne in a bar. Where romantic decorations were laid out for valentines day.
Inside the i30 viewing pod a nyetimber bar is present. Numbered tables are prepared with a rose and red napkins folded in the shape of a rose.
We all took our seats in the dimly lit. Intimate sky dining pod. With a friendly waiter assigned to our table. He offered a choice of either red or white wine.
The white wine accompanying our dinner was delicious and our three course valentines day dinner began with some bread. Followed by our chosen starters. Pea tartar for her and cured salmon for him. Both dishes prepared beautifully.
We spoke about our long lasting love and the time went by really fast. Which is a sign of a really enjoyable evening. Booking a special dinner at i360, means you'll get to enjoy an excursion. Taking in the sights, as well as a tasty three course meal.
We ascended three times during our dining experience. With the ascension thoughtfully scheduled between each course. The sea beneath us was pitch black but it was still spectacular to see Brighton and Hove twinkling lights all around us.
I can imagine it must be amazing to take in a sunset at Brighton i360. With views of both land and sea.
Our main was a succulent chicken breast and dessert a lemon curd. Coffee macaron and mini Shortbread biscuits.
Finally, tea or coffee and some chocolates to finish. Visit https://brightoni360.co.uk/eat-drink/sky-dining to book.
