From belly dancers to surprise performances. This eatery offers an unforgettable evening of food and fun. If you're in search of the ultimate spot, I've got you covered - read on to discover why one of the best live entertainment restaurants in London is Kibele!
I was recently treated to a mothers day celebratory dinner at Kibele. A luxury Turkish restaurant that's generous with both food and entertainment.
For a set price you and your guests will enjoy live performances to rival that of Britain's got talent! Plus A three course meal that's really a four course meal!
The dinner and entertainment package takes place in the spacious downstairs lounge, which thankfully is more of an extended restaurant space. With beautifully designed comfy booth seats on all corners of the room. Plus tables in the center.
Kibele is an intimate, low lit venue and our table was ours for six long hours!
I didn't possibly think we would stay that long, but we actually did stay close to closing time. Kibele really impressed us. As we could all agree that it was a really fun night!
The evening started off with a generous amount of warm bread accompanied by five, fresh flavoursome dips. To include Hummus. Cream cheese and grilled vegetables.
Throughout the night staff members made sure our glasses were never empty. We were able to take our time with each course and I really liked that.
After enough warm bread and dips to qualify as a starter, we enjoyed some.. To the sound of a live band who played jazz and were soon joined by a live vocalist who also impressed us with the violin.
After a nice, long live music session. We were surprised with a live show of a different kind. Masked hip hop dancers took to the floor as we awaited our main courses.
Portion sizes are generous at Kibele. I tried the leg of lamb and mashed potatoes and was not disappointed. After the live dancers we enjoyed the live jazz band and vocalist once more.
For a lively set of classic songs mixed in with a few Turkish classics which we all really enjoyed. The crowd were encouraged to interact with a sing along. Clapping and waving our hands.
To drink I enjoyed a Lychee martini to start and a porn star martini to finish. Both drinks were made well.
After the live band we were once again treated to a dance performance. This time a fire breathing. Fire eating act. For dessert I enjoyed some chocolate cake. Whilst baklava is the speciality at Kibele. Something I really want to go back and try.
If you think that was it for performances. You are wrong! Yet another live dance act. This time Bellydancer who encouraged diners to get up and dance. After the bellydancing we enjoyed a party atmosphere with people up out their seats dancing to the live in house dj.
Last, but not least. My mum and I were treated to another slice of cake with the words thank you mother written and sparklers for extra dazzle.
It was lovely and thoughtful of the staff to provide for us. So Kibele is definitely a recommended venue for mothers day. Birthdays or anniversaries. Just let staff know what you're celebrating when you arrive.
