Day two of London Fashion week September 2023 began on a warm sunny day. With an early morning catwalk show from the Spring summer collection by Paul Costelloe.

Held in the bright spacious Royal Horticultural Halls. The show began with a model walking out in Blue and beige striped linen with a tennis racket in hand. Some models also graced the runway holding croquet mallets throughout the show.
The Spring Summer 2024 collection by Paul Costelloe is a generously sized collection with a variety of stunning pieces. I'm sure there is something for every taste and all occasions.
The music choice was playfully perfect. With sweet nostalgic tunes like lollipop by the Chordettes. Unbelievable to think that this song was first released all the way back in 1958!
Among guests were a number of reality television stars from made in Chelsea to contestants from the latest season of love island.

Paul Costelloe's il giardino catwalk show transports us to a tranquil afternoon in Ferrara Italy. We're at the beautiful gardens of the home of Finzi Contini. Family are lush and heavy with blossom, the sound of laughter Echoes through.
Paul Costelloe introduces his spring summer 2024 collection with a performance of iconic form and textile mastery. Striped linens in sky blues are presented as romantic dresses and unstructured jackets, adorned with the Paul Costelloe sports crest. Along with in-house family narrative prints in shades of ecru, sand and pale blues.
Pure cotton knitwear with statement V's are paired with high waisted, wide leg linen trousers in neutral tones and playful prints.
While summer weight jacket and swing coats in cream with gold braid trim are teamed with cotton lace trousers.
Beautiful marble effect gossamer silks and flower strewn garden party dresses in complementary shades of blue, herald a time of new beginnings.
Oversized, buttery leather Paul Costelloe bags and raffia top knot bags in natural shades, are the perfect finish to this wearable Spring Summer collection.
Paul Costelloe's long-standing jewellery collaboration with Pebble of London, has yet again brought the perfect marriage between each look, and it's finishing touches. Blaithin Ennis brings her delicate lace work jewellery to the SS24 catwalk again this season.
The models had their makeup perfected by Yin Lee using Huda Beauty. With nails by L'atelier green.
The models had their hair designed by the talented Cos Sakkas of Toni & Guy. Using Label.m professional haircare. Cos Sakkas is the winner of International and British hairdresser of the year 2022 and 2023.
Choreography was by cult of fashion. Shoes from Moda in Pelle. With styling by Prue White. Special thanks to Paul Costelloe. Trace Publicity. The Royal Horticultural Society and of course, the British Fashion Council.
My Verdict of the Paul Costelloe SS'24 Collection
I loved everything about this catwalk show. The music. The choice of venue and most importantly the stunning clothing collection itself. I would love to wear a number of items from this beautiful spring summer 2024 collection.
With chic materials like tweed and linen on display. Even the jewellery pieces by Pebble London caught my eye as they beautifully accessorised the outfits.
Some stand-up pieces for me were this incredible hybrid full length skirt which was like a cross between a pair of cargo pants and an elegant skirt. Featuring cargo style pockets and a medium sized train at the back.
It manages to look casual yet eye-catchingly unique. It was paired with an equally as impressive really short lace material long sleeve cropped top, which features some amazing frills.
Other favourites for me include a stunning mid-length powder blue dress with unique, asymmetrical detailing around the neckline. A short linen dress with an amazing frilled skirt. The incredible print on a maxi tiered skirt.
The outstanding sleeves of a charming cape mini dress. A linen floaty blazer dress that looks incredible. A corseted top half dress in powder blue and gold. Beautiful blouses with giant bows on the shoulders. Dresses with extreme ruffles that just really work and the most incredible blue and white dress to finish.
Street style at the show
Iconically the standout outfits from guests in attendance included those dressed in Paul Costelloe's autumn winter collection. Front row guest and reality TV personality of the year Paris Smith impressed in a stunning fuschia gown with matching giant hair bow.
What I Wore
My outfit of the day was an oversized pair of silver cargo pants. Teamed with silver boots and large silver earrings. My top - an over size white t-shirt with neon pink branding to the front and the back.

About Paul Costelloe
Paul Costelloe an Irish-American designer enjoys an esteemed reputation in both the British and Irish fashion scenes, due in large part to his eponymous fashion house. This family-controlled business is renowned for its fusion of high-end fabrics with modern design, ingenuity and originality.
Working out of his London base, Paul collaborates with craftspeople, vendors and producers to create garments of remarkable quality and comfort.
His production facilities include a sampling workplace situated in the same area as well as an Italian familial outlet in central Italy's Ancona region.
Paul started out in the fashion trade working for the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture in Paris, where he discovered that living in such a creative hub at the time of Ungaro and Cardin taught him more than any other experience.
Later, he served as Design Assistant to Jacques Esterel before going to Milan for Marks & Spencer's attempt at setting up shop there. Unfortunately, their business venture failed, but Paul stayed on nonetheless as designer for La Rinascente luxury department store.
Following this, he moved to America and got appointed designer for Anne Fogarty in New York. This eventually led him to establish his own label - Paul Costelloe Collections.
In 1983, Paul was given the role of personal designer to Diana, the Princess of Wales, and the two quickly established a strong working relationship that sadly came to an end with her passing.
The increasing success of the brand led him to be invited to show his designs at London Fashion Week in 1984; this Spring/Summer 2020 collection will mark 35 years since he took the LFW catwalk by storm.
Today, Paul Costelloe boasts a diverse selection of collections, encompassing womenswear, menswear, bags and accessories, homeware, jewellery, eyewear and children’s occasionwear.
His designs have extended to corporate wear concepts for multi-nationals such as British Airways and Delta Airlines, as well as the Irish Olympic Team.
Today, Paul Costelloe boasts a diverse selection of collections, encompassing womenswear, menswear, bags and accessories, homeware, jewellery, eyewear and children’s occasionwear.
His designs have extended to corporate wear concepts for multi-nationals such as British Airways and Delta Airlines, as well as the Irish Olympic Team.
Paul Costelloe Spring Summer 2024 Catwalk location
The Lindley Hall, originally opened in 1904 as the Old Hall, offers a unique opulence. Designed to present art exhibitions for the Royal Horticultural Society, it now plays host to a wide variety of prestigious events, such as London Fashion Week and weddings.
It was a light, airy space with a pretty customised floral backdrop branded with Paul Costelloe's name. Out front at the Lindley Hall was the perfect Street style backdrop of colourful flower baskets and arched windows.
