Qima Cafe Review

Qima cafe transports you to another part of the world. As you arrive you'll notice a design with arched doorways and walls that look as if they're dusted with fine cocoa powder. Qima cafe is a beautiful place to work remotely as a laptop friendly establishment, seats do fill up quickly though. Enjoy table service as you take in the gentle sounds of Lebanese and popular music.

Qima cafe is famous for their fine pastry and cake selection. Including their unique dessert shaped like a miniature sack of coffee beans with the Yemen stamp.

Premium drinks like Ibrik and pour over coffees are made from Colombia el vergel coffee beans. A red and yellow caturra coffee variety, with sugar cane, chocolate and hazelnut tasting notes.

I enjoyed the Ruby latte which is made with oat milk and can be served hot or cold. Freeze dried raspberry pieces adorn your latte and add a delightful tangy taste.

I enjoyed a Yemen honey brioche feuilletée pastry along with my latte, which was the perfect buttery sweet treat. To take home I got the chai roll - a twist on a cinnamon scroll and very tasty.

On my second visit we enjoyed savoury pastries with mushrooms and cheese. Both were flavoursome and expertly made. To drink I ordered the Qishr latte. It's similar to a chai latte but qima use the husk of coffee beans to flavour.

To finish, I enjoyed an almond pain au Chocolat and was not disappointed!
