The Newbury show with Ramsbury Distillery

I was invited to the Newbury show on behalf of ramsbury distillery who sponsored the two-day farming event.

At the Newbury show, there is so much to do that you could definitely stay locally and attend both days. The great thing about the newbury show is that your tickets are valid for both days of the event.

Be sure to pick up a guide as you arrive to the the farm because there are different activities - such as Morris dancing and miniature train rides scheduled throughout the days.

There were mini tractors for kids to manually pedal round some bales of hay.

A real gant combine Harvester that children get yo sit inside. Also a simulator Harvester for budding young farmers. Ramsbury distillery kept everyone fed and watered with free distillery gin tastings. Cocktails at their stylish pop-up bar and some venison burgers and chilli. Fresh from the ramsbury estate. As you head around the farm show. Food, drinks and snacks are always close by. With souch option, we were spoilt for choice. The Nutella crepes with fresh strawberries were delicious. My son enjoyed rock climbing. Free football, bowling and table tennis activities. 

There was even a fun fair and a free to enter spin the wheel activitiy courtesy of Ramsbury. I won a t-shirt and my husband a in store discount, so we bought some honey from the Ramsbury estate.

I'm sure we didn't see everything because there was an impressive amount of things to do! Live choir singing on behalf of Kennet radio station. A cow milking experience and finding the eggs activity for young children. Market sellers. Incredible artwork inside some tents from local school and college children. 

We watched farmers young and old present their prize winning animals and even saw the army perform popular hits on their brass instruments! Mark your diary for next September when the Newbury show is scheduled to take place again. Just visit newburyshowground.co.uk for more information.
