Walk of London

I remember my first ever charity walking event Macmillan cancer charity, which ended up being rather emotional for me at the finish line. I had lost a family member to cancer earlier that year, but the staff who were mostly volunteers were wonderful at guiding us to each point along the way. We were given a help number in case we got lost, the views that we got to take in from Battersea park and through South West London were amazing.

Thankfully the weather was great and towards the finish line there was a lot of cheering, with a live band to welcome us back and our names were even called out on a microphone.
